Hey, I’m Haley! I started messing around on the drums in high school with my amazing musician friends and fell in love with the unity of playing live music. One of my favorite things now is playing the washboard in the Kentucky Music Ensemble. I’m a junior English major, Creative Writing minor and hope to get my enter the publishing world after obtaining my editing certificate.

“Hi everyone! I am Kelly Bolton. I am from Lexington, KY and I am a junior, music major. I am a HUGE beginner to percussion. I have been playing piano, my first love, for about 13 years. I love singing and am fairly new to the guitar. I also love theatre! I am involved in the Kentucky Music Ensemble here at Centre, which is an ensemble that focuses on bluegrass music. I love it! I enjoy being around my friends and family, especially my dog, Reggie. She is a black pug. : )

I am hoping that in taking percussion, I can not only broaden my musical horizon, but also better understand how rhythm works.”

Seth Colgan is from Flemingsburg, KY and is a sophomore. He anticipates double majoring in English and International Studies. His interests include various sports, acceptably good music, and (of course) percussion.
